Issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, it authorizes individuals to provide school services as child welfare and attendance regulators. Candidates will model and demonstrate essential counseling skills in group counseling to address underlying issues impeding student achievement.The Child Welfare and Attendance Credential (CWA) is an add-on specialized credential that PPSC candidates may pursue. This course focuses on the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of small groups in school counseling through the lens of theory, research, case studies, and real-world, school-based practice.
